Cassell Tarring Architects

The guys at Cassell Tarring had a clear vision for their website design. The original challenge was to try to match the PDF layout pixel for pixel. The secondary challenge was to adjust the white space from the static PDF design to suit a responsive design better. We worked closely on the adjustments via zoom calls and over email and managed to achieve the perfect white space ratio at all browser widths from full screen to mobile phone.

Background

Cassell Tarring is the second boutique architect firm we have worked with out of the capital. They had a wealth of great projects and high resolution images to work with. CT have won many awards and have had work published in multiple design and architecture publications. It was a pleasure to get to work with such a talented team, and the perfectionist mindset is clear to see on the finished website.

We worked with the founders to refresh their website, following their brand and layout guidlines to produce a highly responsive, simplistic yet powerful showcase for their completed work.

Specs

With the website layout the guys wanted each section to match their intial design pixel by pixel. We also needed some portfolio & news elements to match the design but have bespoke functionality.

We worked to the spec and achieved one of the most minimal, considered and responsive websites we have been involved with. There are a record amount of responsive breakpoints which allow the site to appear exactly as specified all the way down to 320px wide.
